The present Letters Patent appeal has been preferred against the judgment and order, dated 06.03.2023, passed in W.P.No.18934 of 2021.

The appellants herein had filed the writ petition challenging the rejection of the application filed by them before the Commissioner of Appeals, Office of the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Andhra Pradesh, seeking to get impleaded as party respondents in the revision petition filed by respondent No.5 herein. The writ petition was dismissed and hence the present Letters Patent appeal.

3. Learned counsel for respondent Nos.7 & 8 would submit that the entire cause has been rendered infructuous inasmuch as the revision petition in which the appellants - petitioners sought to get impleaded as party respondents has since been dismissed as infructuous.

4. Be that as it may, the entire issue is rendered academic. We, however, grant liberty to the appellants to approach the Joint Collector - cum - Settlements Officer, Visakhapatnam, to avail their remedies. No order as to costs.
